The Degree to which You can Become Conscious is Only limited by how Fully Present You can Be to All Your body's Sensations, your Thoughts, Feelings & All that is Happening in the World Around You at Any One Moment.

The word " Consciousness" . . . . comes from the Latin words con (with, to be aware of) and scio (to know).

 

It is usually defined as an alert cognitive state in which you are aware of yourself, your situation & the environment.

 

    -   Awareness is the space, the undifferentiated space of pure being & stillness.

 

   - Consciousness is the aspect of movement and differentiated things within that space. It is a learning environment in which we get to develop our selves.

 

     -Self is the being which is aware of and able to create our inner and outer experiences by moving consciousness.

 

  In the broader sense, consciousness is not just being awake and fully alert but being able to creatively respond to your body's sensations, to your feelings and thoughts in relationship with all that is happening in the world around you.

 

   It is the core of how you create your life.

The Holographic Theory Suggests that we exist in a Matrix,

a Simulation Program, Hologram, or Virtual Programmed  Reality

that we believe is real because our brains tell us it is.

 


Consciousness is all and everything in the virtual hologram of our experiences brought into awareness by the brain - an electrochemical receiver forever viewing streaming codes for experience and interpretation.

There is a mysterious human Dimension, the recognition of which shatters all our ideas about who and what we are, where we come from and what our mission in this world is.

This is the realm of Consciousness.

There is something in us, completely incomprehensible for the Mind - That is LIFE.

All our experiences - all our perceptions, sensations, dreams, thoughts and feelings - are forms appearing in consciousness.

 

  It doesn't always seem that way. When we see a tree it seems as if we are seeing the tree directly. But science tells us something completely different is happening. Light entering the eye triggers chemical reactions in the retina, these produce electro-chemical impulses which travel along nerve fibers to the brain. The brain analyses the data it receives and then creates its own picture of what is out there. We then have the experience of seeing a tree. But what we are actually experiencing is not the tree itself, only the image that appears in the mind.

 

   This is true of everything we experience. Everything we know, perceive, and imagine, every color, sound, sensation, every thought and every feeling, is a form appearing in the mind. It is all an in-forming of consciousness. It is sometimes said that our image of reality is an illusion, but that is misleading. It may all be an appearance in the mind, but it is nonetheless real - the only reality we ever know.

 

   The illusion comes when we confuse the reality we experience with the physical reality, the thing-in-itself.

In philosophy, reality is contrasted with:

nonexistence: penguins do exist; so they are real

- and mere possibility: a mountain made of gold is merely possible, but is not real unless they are discovered.

Reality is a simulated generated consciousness hologram in which the characters it creates at the physical level are programmed to believe it is real.

➤ Reality is about the evolution of consciousness in the alchemy of time.

➤ Reality is virtual, perceived through conscious awareness.

Reality as a simulation or hologram is no longer a fringe theory - with Nobel Prize winners and other thought leaders believing in it.

 

All scientific discoveries start out as theories; some ultimately proven, some not. There is still the question of whether our universe actually exists? We may be simply living in something's virtual reality simulation; very hard to prove one way or the other but we are getting closer.

The holographic principle is a property of quantum gravity theories which resolves the black hole information paradox within string theory.

First proposed by Gerard 't Hooft, it was given a precise string-theory interpretation by Leonard Susskind.  Two of the world's most eminent thinkers - University of London physicists David Bohm, a former protege of Einstein's and one of the world's most respected quantum physicists, and Stanford neurophysiologist Karl Pribram, one of the architects of our modern understanding of the brain - believe that the universe itself may be a giant hologram, quite literally a kind of image or construct created, at least in part, by the human mind. 

The principle states that the description of a volume of space should be thought of as encoded on a boundary to the region, preferably a light-like boundary like a gravitational horizon.

For a black hole, the principle states that the description of all the objects which will ever fall in is entirely contained in surface fluctuations of the event horizon.

In a larger and more speculative sense, the theory suggests that the entire universe can be seen as a two-dimensional information structure "painted" on the cosmological horizon, so that the three dimensions we observe are only an effective description at low energies.

Simply notice the breath as it moves in and out as the body inhales and exhales.  Notice how the breath moves in and out automatically, effortlessly. Don't try to manipulate it in any way. Notice all the details of the experience of breathing

The mind will wander away from the breath - that's fine, it doesn't matter. That's a part of the meditation!  Notice how all of your experiences - thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, awareness of sounds and smells - come automatically and effortlessly like the breath.
